This mug sparked something new in me while throwing it. This is the first mug where i threw this top heavy rounded vase shape and it’s personally one of my absolute favorite mug shapes.
This piece is also the first piece i left the mushroom head disconnected from the mug to create this suspended effect. The way the glaze hugged the curves made this one of the mugs to make me the most excited when opening the kiln.
The glaze on the mushroom top had me entranced, I hope this piece gives to you as much as it gave to me while creating it -P
